Want to know what you can do help protect the "wild side" of Florida? During this special visit by the the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, school-age children will learn ways they can improve natural Florida. Some of the hands-on educational activities include: discovering which critters live in local waters, looking at macroinvertebrates under a microscope, testing water salinity, dissolved oxygen, measuring turpidity, and viewing Enviroscapes. This free program is sponsored in partnership with the Friends of the Library of St. Johns County.
