The Family Integrity Program welcomes reigning Miss California United States, Christina Meredith, to the Southeast Branch Library on Monday, April 7 at 4 pm. She will be speaking about overcoming adverse childhood experiences, abuse and trauma to become whole again. Christina strongly supports programs and foundations serving foster teens and young adults which work to meet the educational, emotional, and developmental needs of this vulnerable population. Christina's message is especially meaningful to teens in child welfare, and even more relatable to teen girls and young women, though she is guaranteed to make a positive impact on everyone who attends.
