St. Johns Reads Selection: "Unbroken" [2]

SJCPLS is proud to announce that we have chosen Laura Hillenbrand's Unbroken for the seventh annual St. Johns Reads 2012 in February. Telling an unforgettable story of a man's journey into extremity, Unbroken is a testament to the resilience of the human mind, body and spirit. Throughout the month of February, each library branch will host a variety of programs and events including book talks, lectures about WWII Liberty ships, Japanese culture, a POW documentary, Genealogy programs and much more. The entire program will wrap up with a spectacular Salute to Veterans Dance at the Council on Aging River House on Sunday, February 26 from 2-5 pm. Here is a full schedule of events. [3]
